Quarto, illustrated printer wrappers, 176 pp., illustrated throughout with colour and black-and-white photographs, two leaves of publisher's advertisements included. Corners of covers a little bent, lower-right corner of front cover and leaves 1 to 12 are creased and have a pale brown water mark; otherwise a very good copy. First edition. A comprehensive directory of the world's airlines from 1914 to 1999 with 300 entries spanning every stage of civil air transport. Each entry includes a short history, a photograph and technical details of the aircraft featured.
