Illustrated with six plates by the Scottish artist Edward S. Hodgson (1866-1937). Collated, complete. A thrilling adventure tale for boys, written by the British civil engineer and novelist William Joseph Cosens Lancaster (1843-1922), under his pseudonym Harry Collingwood. A sixteen-page publisher's catalogue to the rear. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with shelf wear to the joints, extremities and front board. Spine is slightly faded. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the first and last few pages. Very Good
