First published in 1906 - but absence of gilt top edge suggests this is the 1930 reprint (Inman). Portrait b/w frontis, 73 colour plates with captioned guards, 19 other full page b/w illustrations and 58 text line illustration all as called for. The life and works of the British illustrator, watercolourist and engraver.VG no d/j (Book- mild to moderate general shelf wear and soiling, no previous owner name or insc. Light foxing to edges of book block and to prelims and last few pages, binding sound with no other notable defects).
