About This Item
The Chevalier of Pensieri-Vani (1890) was Henry Blake Fuller's first novel. Set in more than a dozen Italian cities and featuring a mysterious, nomadic antihero, it was inspired by Fuller's long, meandering trips to Italy in 1880 and 1883, when he was in his mid-twenties.
