Gray-green boards with tan lettering on spine; book has slight lean. Bottom of book spine slightly rumpled; former owner's bookplate affixed to first interior page. Top page edges very slightly yellowed; author's picture and bio on back dust jacket. Dust jacket rubbed; top and bottom of dust jacket spine shows shelf wear and very small cracking. Tight binding and pages still look in excellent condition.
Simon & Schuster First Edition; First Printing as indicated by complete number line ending in "1" on copyright page. Signed by author on title page.
Book 2 in Chesbro's Mongo series that features Dr. Robert "Mongo" Fredrickson, "a fictional private eye and criminologist who has dwarfism". Hardcover and original unclipped dust jacket protected by archival Mylar cover.
