INSCRIBED AND SIGNED by the author on the Front Free End Paper to his Texas friend, producer/director Glenn Jordan: "For Glenn Jordan, thinking maybe he'll see some Texas in these pages that he too knows (and loves). Good luck and good work! Until we meet, Bill Goyen". Then signed a second time in the year of publication beneath the inscription: "William Goyen[,] New York[,] December, 1974". Illustrated dust-jacket (with price intact), with cover design by Paul Bacon has slight edge wear.
