A poem about Elizabeth Bond is pasted in: from 1927 issue of a Friends periodical, written by a young Friend. -- SIGNED by the author Emily Johnson, who was was a Quaker peace activist and social reformer; Johnson's papers are at Bryn Mawr College. -- Hardcover, ex-library copy with spine letters and minimal markings. Condition: very good minus (as noted library marks; tips bumped and bit worn; outer pages foxed). -- Overall, sound binding and clear pages.
