FIRST EDITION. 3 vols., 7-5/8" x 5", all half-titles present, final advert leaf present at the end of volume 3, bound in contemporary 1/2 tan calf, sprinkled edges, spine tooled in gilt and blind, engraved armorial book plate to verso of each title-page, internally clean and bright, hinges fine, head and foot of spines fine, A VERY GOOD COPY. The second of Mary Brunton's (1778-1818) three novels.
