Cloth over board, clean with sharp corners and ends. The dust jacket is scuffed with light soil and rolled edges. Gathering together extracts from the work of over sixty authors, from the first Christian centuries, (excerpt of the Didache, Clement of Rome etc.) to the present day (Madeleine L'Engle & Martin Luther King Jr.). A great selection for further study or to enjoy as devotional. Not quite beautiful, it remains a lovely book worthy of gift giving. No markings. ; tall 8vo 9" - 10" tall .
