Illustrated with forty pages of colour images, by Raymond Briggs. A day in the life of Fungus the Bogeyman, a working class bogeyman with the mundane job of scaring human beings. As the day progresses he undergoes a mild existential crisis pondering the seemingly pointless job he does each day. Written and illustrated by Raymond Briggs, an English illustrator, cartoonist, graphic novelist and author who has achieved critical and popular success. He is best known in Britain for his 1978 story The Snowman. In the publisher's original pictorial paper covered binding. Externally, smart with the odd mark to boards and faint discolouration due to handling. Minor bumping to head and tail of spine. Contemporary ink inscription on front free end paper, dated 1973. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
