From the dust jacket, "The most comprehensive and probing examination thus far. It is likely to remain the best single volume on the Gulf War." (Eliot A. Cohen, Foreign Affairs). Author Michael R. Gordon was chief defence correspondent for the New York Times. He received the George Polk Award for International Reporting for his 1989 disclosures on Libyan's chemical weapons program. He covered the Gulf conflict and the upheaval in Iraq, reporting from Washington as well as Iraq and other countries in the region. <br><br>CONDITION: In overall very nice condition, the book itself is "fine" without markings, creases and is clean. The dust jacket is near fine with some rubbing and a slight bend at the head of dj. A nice copy. Full refund if not satisfied.
