Garden City Publishing Co., Inc., 1931. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1931. Star Edition. 452 pages. No dust jacket. Embossed purple cloth. Rough-cut pages.Black and white illustrated plates. Minor foxing and noticeable tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters. Hinges are moderately cracked, exposing netting and causing boards to be loose. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft splitting, fraying and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
