London: published by T. L. Holt, 1839. 8vo, title leaf plus pp. [367]-509, [1]; text in double column; likely later brown paper wrappers, printed label "Horse-Shoe Robinson, / by J. P. Kennedy, Esq." on the upper cover; some curling of the edges, front wrapper one-third separated, pp. 415-16 trimmed close with the occasional loss of a letter; all else good. At the end, "J. Cunningham, printer, Crown-court, 72, Fleet Street." The first British edition appeared as a triple-decker in 1835. Not in BAL or Wright. Seven copies in OCLC which notes "Reprinted from The Novel newspaper."
