The first edition of this work.A detailed itinerary on Cornwall, describing the county's history, alongside it's prominent and interesting places and features that any visitor must travel to.Illustrated with a frontispiece, five plates, and in-text illustrations.Collated, complete.By journalist and wine writer, Cyrus Redding. In a half calf binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with rubbing to the boards and spine. A few light marks to the boards, with a small damp stain to the head of the front board. Light bumping to the extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Ink inscriptions to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with some spotting to the plates. Plate facing page 1 is detached but present, with aged tape marks to the plate, and to the preceding and following pages. Good
