Tan cloth, titles and illustration printed in black on the cover, titles on the spine: spine ends rubbed, bookplate of Vashon Island residents Paul and Harriet Billingsley. AMNH Handbook Series No. 10 to supplement exhibits in the Northwest Coast Hall at the museum, containing collections from Franz Boas, among others. The author, curator of Ethnology, credits Boas for the origin of his text. SMITH, 3617.
