A fine and readable account of Western Americana and the life and efforts of Nikolai Rezanov to support Russia's Imperial aims in California, Alaska and even Hawai'i. Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound hardcover, clean, if very lightly toned interior, minimal rubbing to extremities. Bound in bluish-gray cloth over covers, dark blue-stamped lettering and illustration to front cover. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, moderately worn, a bit chipped at the tips, price-clipped, but protected by a plastic coat. Volume contains scholarly apparatus in the form of, e.g., notes, index, and bibliography. Frontis matter, 1-356 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
