1ST EDITION, INSCRIPTION BY AUTHOR dated September 13, 1919. See pics. Green ribbed cloth cover with title and author stamped in gilt, spine with title, author and publisher in gilt, top gilt edge. Cover has bumped corners and spine, wear at bumps. Front cover has no stains/marks. Stain on lower back cover of 1 sq. in. Some other small light wear on back. Some aging on spine but in good condtion. Edging is clean on all 3 sides, no stains or marks. Some aging to top gilt edge. Binding is still very good, no broken glue or loose pages. Half-title page carries inscription from author. Otherwise, there are no tears, rips, stains, marks, writing or highlighting. Pages are discolored with age consistent with a 100 year-old book sitting on a shelf. Very good copy in great condtion considering its age. Proceeds benefit public library. (A2)
