Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Rebound in black cloth with pieces of original gilt-stamped leather adhered over the cloth, gilt-stamped name on front cover: "Hon. James A. Richmond", new end papers, all edges of text block gilded, 912 pages. Includes the two folding maps though one is torn, and the 24 other illustrations (some are folding).
