Quarter-bound in black cloth over yellow paper-covered boards, gilt titles on spine; blue endpapers. 8vo. Lightly rubbed spine ends. Boards stained red. Top text block edge partly blue (could be a sprayed top edge), remaining edges just starting to fox. Signed and inscribed by author on front free endpaper 'To Ted Willis - Read this book and know me better - Best Max Gordon'. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, not price clipped. The star-studded story of his life on Broadway written in association with Lewis Funke.
