Joe Palmer was the leading turf writer in the late 1930's and here viewed the careers of major Thoroughbred stallions from 1860 to 1839. When this book was reprinted by the Blood-Horse Library in 1974, it immediately sold out. A near fine copy bound in red cloth lettered in black and green, spine lettered in black and green, upper corners only slightly bumped.
