In 1788 Nanbaree watched the First Fleet sail into Sydney Harbour. The artist Thomas Watling was assigned to illustrate Whites collection of plants and animals.This talented forger also drew delightful portraits of Nanbaree,his family and friends and scenes from their life on Sydney Harbour.
