Clean beige cloth boards with dark brown old fashioned covered well, dark brown lettering on cover; dark brown lettering on spine. No bumping, fading or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. All pages are clean with clean endpapers - no names, writing or marks. Illustrated with hundreds of old engravings. 128 pages. Clean dust jacket is unchipped, not price clipped, has some age-toning to rear panel and edges, a few short closed edge tears; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Size of book is approx. 9" x 12". The history of New England illustrated with pictures that are quaint, amusing, nostalgic - from artists like Ralph Earle, John Warner Barber, and more..
