1928 hardcover as pictured. A beautiful small volume, numbered copy 128/1050, by Nonesuch Press/Random House. Twelve Pythian odes by the cannonical Greek poet in English translation with commentary. Binding is firm. White buckram boards with gold stamping on spine are lightly soiled but show little wear. Owner's bookplate on FEP. Endpapers tanned. Rough cut text block with gilt top edge.
