Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Presentation copy, signed and warmly inscribed by author William Trufant Foster (the noted pre-Keynesian economist), to one of the most prominent American librarians of the 20th century: 'For Edmon Low Guide, Protector, Friend - for miles and miles! from William T. Foster.' Original dark blue cloth stamped in gilt (minor wear). 'The Road to Plenty' was one of five books that Foster co-authhored with Catchings, in what was to prove one of the most influential bodies of economic thought of the 1920s in America.
