Collins, 1950. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1950. 'New Edition'. 256 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over green cloth covered boards. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Boards are bowed. Unclipped jacket has light edge-wear with tears and creasing. Heavy foxing.
