Toronto: McClelland and Goodchild Limited. Good. 1908. First Canadian Edition. Hardcover. 395 + ads p. 19 cm. Sound and square binding in red, buckram-covered boards with stamped titles and illustration. Top edge of spine slightly frayed. Corner tips have minor wear. Spine is darkened somewhat. Both boards have light soil. Text block edges dusty/grimy. Rear free endpaper has been removed and rear pastedown is soiled and damaged. Bookstore sticker on front pastedown endpaper with offsetting from it opposite. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with light toning. A fictional account of a trip to eastern Canada, intended to be used for educational purposes to teach about the country. Illustrated with black and white photographic plates. This is the Canadian imprint from the plates of Henry Holt. .
