He little know that the band's leader, Kurt Cobain, would become a pop culture icon. Danny worked with Cobain from 1990 to 1994, the last years of the musician's life; he witnessed the straopheric rise of Nirvana a sthey madew "punk" and "grunge" household terms; saw the meeting and marriage of Cobain and Courtney Love and how their relationship became a lightning rod for critics; the birth of their daughter Frances Bean; and finally Kut;s struggle with addiction that ended with a devestating suicide.
