W. H. Allen, 1975. Hardcover. VG-/Good. used hardcover in a dust jacket. jacket is a bit worn about the edges and somewhat scuffed, but without any serious tears, though there is a scar near the bottom of the front panel from the removal of some sort of adhesive. this did moderate damage to the lamination of the jacket as well as the paper beneath, which has very partially obscured the image of West on the jacket. the jacket is otherwise relatively clean and bright and has not been price clipped. pages and binding are clean, straight and tight. there are no marks to the text or other serious flaws.

Dustwrapper age-toned, especially to rear panel; light sunning to spine title lettering; original price to flap cancelled with a blue marker pen. Boards and spine clean and bright. Occasional mark or dustiness but otherwise pages very clean throughout; light dinge to page edges (final quarter of page-block and visible in accompanying images) – fairly inconsequential and only mentioned for completeness.
Overall, a particularly well preserved copy and quite the best I've seen or handled – lovely indeed.
