Four volumes, 8vo rebound in half morocco by Maurin with five raised bands, gilt titling and decoration, and top edges gilt. 471, 538, 505, 546 pp. Engraved portrait frontis. in vol. 1; fold-out facsimile in vol. 2; reproduction of a monument and plan in vols. 3 and 4. G. Edge wear and rubbing to the leather with minor chipping at spine ends, corners worn through, and flaking along joints. Bindings are strong and boards firmly attached. Text block edges are clean and tight. Name on front flyleaf of volume one. Light foxing to front matter of all volumes; texts are clean. Ships in a box packed with care.
