Bound in full red morocco with covers displaying ornate gilt tooling on the borders and central familial crests. Raised bands gilt with panels displaying ornate royal gilt tooling and label lettering in gilt. The top edges are gilt with ornate gilt tooled turn-ins. The Edition Royale consists of 20 copies signed by the author, this being no. 5. Illustrations of the personal history of the family (especially Mary Queen of Scots) in XVIth, XVIIth, and XVIIIth century art. Published by Dickinson's in London, 1902.
