Sm 4to (10.25" x 6.5"), half black leather, marbled paper boards. viii, [1],10-157 pp., 20 fold-out plates signed "E. Proud'homme." Early ownership inscription on ffep reading: "Herbert Quirk Ferguson, August 1st, 1834, New York. H. Shaked." Inscription on title reads "Herbert Quirk Ferguson, 81 Willet St., N. Y." CONDITION: Good, extremities worn, 2.5" split in back hinge at lower spine but binding intact, moderate foxing throughout. First edition, first printing. REFERENCES: Checklist of American Imprints 12088.
