Oxford at The Clarendon Press, 1942. Frontispiece, with maps and charts but no other illustrations, large octavo, pp (6), 496, a bit weak internally, a poor copy with some damp damage mainly to the top of page margins, and mainly early and late in the book, slight loss of surface here and there, a little staining to the inner gutter margin, the rear hinge after the last index page cracking, blue cloth very stained. A good working copy, but no more than that.. First Edition. Cloth. Poor.
