About This Item
Santa Barbara: Black Sparrow Press, 1978. First Edition. Signed hardcover in illustrated paper and cloth covered boards. 8vo; 194 pages. Author's presentation copy; signed, dated, and inscribed. 226 copies were signed and numbered or lettered; this is an hors commerce copy presented by the author to poet Theodore Enslin. Lengthy and illustrated inscription "to my friend Theodore Enslin" tipped in after the copyright. In addition, signed and marked "author's presentation copy" on the colophon. Unmarked interior but unfortunate foxing on the boards, top and bottom edges, and foredge; otherwise a sturdy copy. Good/no jacket. In protective, removable mylar cover.
