Hodder and Stoughton, 1888. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1888. No Edition Remarks. 466 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt decoration. Pages are mildly tanned, with noticeable marking to some pages throughout, but text remains clear. Binding is slightly shaky, due to cracked hinges, but all pages remain attached. Pencil inscription to half title page. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are heavily tanned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with visible marks also. Gilt remains bright. Slight forward lean.
