[2], 3-320 pp. Grey publisher's cloth with gold lettering and an inset illustration of the Titanic sinking on the front board, gold lettering and gold rules on the spine. Illustrated with a frontispiece photograph of the ship's captain and with twelve double-sided plates of black and white photographs and with a few full-page illustrations. Completing the title page: "A graphic and thrilling account of the sinking of the greates floating palace ever built, carrying down to watery graves more than 1,500 souls. Giving exciting escapes from death and acts of heroism not equalled in ancient or modern times, told by the survivors including history of icebergs, the terror of the seas, wireless telegraphy and modern shipbuilding. Edited by Marshall Everett. Special introduction "Women and Children First" by Rev. Henry Van Dyke" Rubbing and soiling to the front board and spine, toning to the pageblock and a dampstain on the rear endpaper and pastedown.
