Mountain Interval by Frost, Robert - November, 1916

This is a first-edition copy of Mountain Interval by Robert Frost, published in November of 1916, by Henry Holt and Company, in New York, New York. Located on the front pastedown is a sticker 3 1/8 long by 2 1/4 wide, that reads "Helen Macomber Sherman, A.B." at the top and "Oh for a Booke and a Shadie Nook eyther in-a-Doore or Out.", with a mystical symbol located in the middle. The left side of the front pastedown is peeling 5/8 of an inch down 1/4 of an inch across, along the spine. About an inch and 3/8 below, is an apparent crevice between the pasting of the pastedown and the spine that runs for 2 7/8 inches. Directly near the end of this, on the right side of the front pastedown are the 3/8 inch by 3/8 inch remains of what appears to be a bookstore sticker. The second leaf is 1/4 of an inch shorter than all the others, this appears to have been a publication error as the front of the third leaf has a line estimating the same cut. This occurs on a few leaves throughout the book. On the fourth leaf, there is a 1/2 an inch tear with no opening, and to the left are two other 1/4 inch and less than 1/8 inch tears, as well as a 1/4 inch tear that led to a whole with a diameter of less than an eighth. The backside of the fourth leaf and the front of the fifth appear to have stuck together at some point, and as an effect, the bottom of both leaves are bothered. On the fifth leaf, there is a 1/2 inch hole located at the bottom of the page. On the last leaf of the book, there are two one-inch tears at the top. On the back pastedown, there is a crevice running along the spine and pastedown. On the top where the pastedown meets the book covering, there is a 1/4 inch tear.
