Pablo Neruda (1904 – 1973)

Pablo Neruda was a Nobel Prize-winning Chilean poet, as well as a diplomat and politician.



He was born Ricardo Eliécer Neftalí Reyes Basoalto but became better known by his pen name and, later, legal name Pablo Neruda. The Colombian novelist Gabriel García Márquez once called him "the greatest poet of the 20th century in any language."
