Little Fires Everywhere, her second novel, was published in 2017, and into a Hulu miniseries in 2020. She also received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2020. Her short stories that have been published in a variety of literary journals., and her most recent novel,
Our Missing Hearts, was released on October 4, 2022.
Ng was born on July 30, 1980 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She studied English at Harvard University, then attended graduate school at University of Michigan, where she earned her Master of Fine Arts in writing.
