New York: C.M. Saxton, 1848. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Brown contemporary calf, 4 raised bands, black leather label, gilt lettered. No date, but publisher's address is 123 Fulton Street indicating probable publication of 1848. 47 plates, (many tinted) of renderings, elevations and layouts with accompanying text. Very light wear, binding is square and sound. Miinor dampstaining to 3 plates and very slight waviness to a few leaves, occasional foxing. Owner's name on endpapes. Most plates are virtually free of any defects. This book is very attractively bound, and is in a very well-preserved condition. A wide range of architectural styles are shown, from classics to country log cabin. There is a total of 47 plates, including layouts, elevations and specfications.

London: W. Inny's and R. Manby, 1735. Hardcover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [16], 435,[13] pp, 17 folding plates. Contemporary calf. Covers detached and worn but present, spine worn. Contents tanned and occasional light margin soil, endpapers and title page edge-darkened, Burgiss Allison's name and stamp ont title page, notations on endpapers, text block is solid. Contents are complete, but will require some restoration.

New York: E.P. Dutton and Company, 1929. First Edition . Hardcover. Good/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Willy Pogany. 192pp. Violet cloth, gilt lettering and decoration, color llustrated endpapers. Cover nearly unworn, spine is faded and lettering barely readable, several small holes in front endpaper evidently from bookplate removal, inscription on verso, text is mildly age-toned but clean and unmarked, binding is tight. Scarce dust jacket is missing a 2 1/2 inch piece from lower spine and several smaller pieces from top edge. Wonderful pen and ink drawings by Pogany throughout text.

Randolph Schwabe et al. 149pp. Decorative patterned boards, tan buckram spine, paper spine label. One of 230 copies printed and numbered 121 to 350 of which this is No. 132. 17 full page drawings including several hand-colored, and 15 sepia photos Very light wear, spine slightly darkened, contents mildly age-toned, preliminary and last pages lightly foxed, text and illustrations overall in sound condition. Translated from the Russian by H. De Vere Beauclerk and Nadia Evrenov, and edited by Cyril W. Beaumont.

Worcester, Massachusetts: Isaiah Thomss, 1796. Hardcover. Good. 24mo - over 5 - 5¾" tall. 596pp. Full calf, leather spine label. Fourth Worcester Edition. Edges rubbed, label chipped though mostly readable, joints cracked, no endpapers, some signatures slightly protruding, contents tanned, partial clippings pasted to pastedowns.

First Edition, First State with uncorrected errors on pages 124, 263 and 362, Franklin Press imprint on copyright page. Edges rubbed, corners and spine ends worn, fraying along spine, inner rear hinge cracked, some signatures starting to loosen, endpapers lightly soiled, age toning and scattered light soiling to text mainly in margins, slight dampstaining and wrinkling to last 4 leaves, small tape repair to rear free endpaper, former owner's name and date in pencil on front endpaper

New York: Frederick Stokes Company, 1895. Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Black leather, red lettering to cover and spine. Very minor scuffing to cover, front free endpaper missing, some separation to endpaper gutters, binding holding tightly, text is age-toned and there is a very occasional spot or smudge in margins, former owner's name and some soiling on title page. Book is divided into 10 sections, each section paginated individually : Fifty Soups, Fifty Salads, Breakfast Dainties, Puddings and Dainty Desserts, The Book of Entrées, Cookery for Invalids, Practical Carving, Luncheon, Oysters and Fish and The Chafing Dish.

Troy, NY: The Northern News Company, 1872. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. 126pp. Blue cloth, gilt lettering and decoration, folding map, 2 color plates, numerous engravings. Corners lightly rubbed, contents are clean and sound, binding is tight, former owner's name and date (1875) on front pastedown. The 2 color plates have small dampstains to top margins; no other stains in book, indicating that the 2 color plates were stained before being bound into book. A very well-preserved guide to Saratoga. Book measures 6 x 4 1/4 inches.

Tokyo: Kenkyusha, 1930. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. 263pp. No dat4e c1930s. Green cloth, gilt lettering and decoration. frontispiece portrait of author, illustrations by John Tenniel. Text is in Japanese with English translation on opposite pages. Book is in very good very lightly used condition, text is mildly age-toned, former owner's bookplate on front pastedown, bookseller's ticket on rear pastedown. Original dust jacket has 1-1 1/2 inch chips from head and tail, (slight loss of text), and light chipping along folds. A rare copy of an early c1930s Japanese imprint.

The Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments bound together with The Whole Book of Psalms, in Metre with Hymns. Wear to corners and head of spine, slight separation to front board, binding is tight, spotting to endapers, scattered light foxing to text, notations on endpapers.

London: Geoffrey Bles, 1937. Signed and Limited . Hardcover. Near Fine. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. 241pp. Ivory linen boards, red leather spine backing, five raised bands, gilt lettering, book is in slipcase. An edition limited to 100 copies, of which this is No. 42, SIGNED by both Anthony Gordon and associate, Arnold Haskell. Spine slightly sunned and with very slight wear, text and all photos are clean and sound. Slipcase is worn along edges. Book is in very well-preserved condition. A magnificently designed book filled with captivating photos by Gordon Anthony, of the great dancers who performed during the first half of the 20th century.

New York: D. Van Nostrand, 1864. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. 146pp. Maroon cloth, gilt lettering to spine. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED by the Author on front free endpaper. Cover spotted, spine lettering partially obliterated, front free endpaper missing, contents lightly age-toned, preliminaries foxed and occasional light foxing to text.. Front endpaper is inscribed to Col. Townsend, and signed by the author. Verso is inscribed in pencil, in a different handwriting, partially illegible. Morris served as a Brigadier General in the Union Army. The author offers precise detail of field tactics and maneuvers, along with numerous diagrams.

Chipping to edges and spine, contents age-toned and scattered light foxing, a faint crease to one plate and tear to one page archival tape mended. Includes bank-note designs by The American Bank Note Company.

Good/As New. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 194pp. Blind stamped boards, gilt stamped floral border, gilt stamping and gilt lettering to spine, all edges gilt, 7 engraved plates with tissue-guards, signed on editor's page "Maria G. Haro." Edge worn, spine chipped with minor loss, endpapers stained, very occasional foxing to text.
