Boston & New York: Lee and Shepard/Charles T. Dillingham. Poor with no dust jacket. 1889. Hardcover. Inner hinges are badly cracked. Rear cover attached by threads only. Binding in front cover has been tape repaired at the front inner hinge and between the title page and facing page, with more cracking between two more front pages. Covers have light wear to spine ends, slight wear to outer corners, and are slightly soiled. Several pages have turned down corners. ; According to owner's long note written on the front endpaper, this book was presented to her by the author. .
