Brown cloth with bright gilt titling on spine. No ownership inscription. ix, 234 pages clean and tight. In 1984 the Monumental Brass Society was already considering a publication for its Centenary in 1987, but no theme had presented itself. But at the Society's Annual Weekend Conference, held that year at Acton Burnell, three papers all relating to the Early Brasses were presented. It is these that form the basis for this book.
