Vive La Paris

I use this book as a read aloud to my 6th graders and they love it. The writing is funny and smart, there are multiple conflicts and issues to talk about in class (the holocaust, bullying, questioning God, being a good friend, jumping to conclusions, etc.). The characters are the same as Sahara Special, the companion book, but this book is better (according to me and 5 6th graders). It's a really enjoyable novel that I highly recommend.
