New York: American Section of the Theosophical Society in Convention, 1895. Hard bound with marbled paper boards, spine sports brown tape covered by cello-tape, corners also have brown tape; First three pages are pasted to the paste-down, seam is open behind them and they are cracked and partially torn wear the meet the board; Leaf of page 9/10 of first issue is loose; Similar to the front, at rear, last page is pasted to the paste-down and seam is open before it; Still binding feels solid and text block is clean, mostly free of soil or toning. Original spine titles show through the cello-tape.. 35 issues each 12 pages, No. 36 June 1992 through No. 70 April 1995; 6.25" x 5.25"; The second half of 70 issues in the original Question and Answer format; Gomes, Theosophy in the Nineteenth Century, says Fullerton was the Editor until March of 1895, however in the Aprill 1895 issue included here Fullerton is sitll stated as the contact; Laid in is a printed sheet asking members to consider making contributions above the basic members dues, "... I take the oportunity to ask your greatly-needed aid in covering the expenses of the General Secretary's office." - William Q. Judge, includes detail of what the expenses are and the current financial status, "The surplus of $987.23 fro last year is now reduced to about $100.00. I am anxious to begin 1893 without forebodings..." Though volume has significant flaws, these early issues are exceedlingly rare.
