About This Item
Chicago: Charles H. Kerr & Company, 1925. Hardcover. 242p., front., first edition, original blue cloth boards, lacking dustjacket, spine somewhat toned, board edges and text block edges lightly toned, corners slightly bumped, title page somewhat foxed, else in very good condition. "Jones offers few insights into her personal life but rather presents a picture of the famed agitator as she liked to be recognized: never a lady. Thus she heroically narrates her many adventures; especially poignant are her renditions of the 1903 march of the mill children and the great strikes in Colorado in 1903 and 1913-1914." *Buhle 165.
