Hardcover. 195p., plus addendum and corrigenda, illustrated with a few diagrammatic coastal maps and a spooky color portrait of da Gama inserted as frontispiece, hardbound in 10x7 inch green cloth boards gilt & blind, has a sprinkle of foxing and dust-soil to top edge, otherwise in excellent condition with no further indication of handling or age: quite sound, absolutely unmarked.
