A singed limited edition of this collection of short stories by the notable author Walter de la Mare. First limited edition of this work. Limited to 250 copies. Signed by Walter de la Mare to limitation page. Number 122. Textblock is unopened. A collection of nine short stories, including 'Mr. Kempe', 'Missing', 'The Connoisseur', 'Disillusioned', 'The Nap', 'Pretty Poll', 'All Hallows', 'The Wharf', and 'The Lost Track' - six of these stories were previously unpublished. 'All Hallows', included in this collection, is known as one of the best subtle psychological horror stories ever written. Written by Walter de la Mare, an English poet, short story writer and novelist best known for his works for children. In the original brown quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Contemporary ink inscription to the front dated 1934. Very Good Indeed
