About This Item

New York: Pyramid Publications, 1976. First Edition. Trade paperback. Very good. From the library of revered English actor, comedian, musician, and writer Eric Idle, with his signature to the front flyleaf, accompanied by a letter of provenance. Idle (b.1943) is a founding member of the British comedy troupe Monty Python, as well as the parody rock group The Rutles, and is the writer of the music and lyrics for the hit Broadway musical Spamalot.

The story of the Beatles as seen through the eyes of the author during his years growing up in the Midwest. Quarto: 160 p. with illustrations throughout, including a full-color Beatles pull-out portrait. Original pictorial paper wrappers. Some light edgewear; else very good or better.
