Second edition, 8vo, 2 volumes, pp. [8], 448; [2], 358; contemporary speckled calf, decorated gilt borders, gilt-decorated spine with gilt title direct on spine; marbled edges and endpapers; spines rubbed and worn, extremities rubbed, spine ends lightly chipped; text clean and sound. A good and reasonably sound copy. With a portrait engraving laid in of St. Charles Berromé. See Lasala 0368 for the first edition in quarto.
