Unmarked hardcover with no dust jacket. The burgundy cloth board has an adhered decorative paper inset on front with all the countries's flags. Corners are bumped and the ends of the spine or also. Endpapers are lightly soiled and two have heavy foxing. 10 1/2 x 8 x 1 1/4 inches.

Nine of the ten thick glossy paper "The Nations At War" issues [all except issue number 9], released serially during World War one are included in this lot. Each issue is in pictorial wraps and was shipped to subscribers in brown paper envelopes. All are illustrated with photos and artworks - All covers and some pages in color. Each issue 10-3/4" x 8". The cover of issue 1 is partially separated, other than this, all are in as new condition! There are also 7 of the original envelopes present. These were printed on inferior paper and are heavily chipped, torn, and some flap closures have separated.
