Original pictorial bindings, in very good condition, excepting rubbing, soil and dulling to spine of her obviously beloved copy of "Things Worth Doing". Lathrop's childhood bookplate in 2 of the 3 volumes, the beautiful "Liberty" bookplate in "What a Girl Can Make and Do" is inscribed to her by her mother on her 13th birthday. Her signature is not in any of the volumes. But they were purchased together, and so are offered as a lot. During a prolific career spanning from 1919 to 1967, she used her artistic skills as an illustrator of other authorsââ¬â¢ children's literature.
